Minimun: 2 persons
We start this walk from ahu Akapu area to explore one of the most inhospitable places on the island: the northwest coast, because its access is totally restricted to motor vehicles.
We’ll visit ceremonial villages with intact archaeological remains, to see moai that by the distance it is difficult to imagine its transport and to appreciate petroglyphs and statues carved with basalt, one of the hardest stones of the island. Here you can also see a platform similar to the Inca murals of Peru in ahu Tepeu area and marvel at its privileged view.
We finish our tour at Anakena Beach to enjoy its turquoise, warm and clear waters.
Some places: Ahu Tepeu, Maitaki Te Moa, Vai Mata’s platforms, Omohi, Hanga Oteo, PapaTekena.
After the excursion, drive to your hotel from Anakena
